Foot on the Gas
by Tony Rago
Fresh highs in ES after CPI puts the ball squarely in the bulls’ court. If they stay aggressive, this 7,000–7,100 zone could get chewed through faster than most expect — big round numbers tend to attract price when momentum is strong, especially after a macro catalyst clears the air. NQ still has some work to do, though. It needs to get comfortable above 26K before making a clean push toward 26,106, and how it behaves around that threshold will tell us a lot about broader risk appetite.
From here, it’s about reading the open and letting the market tip its hand. Opening ranges should offer early clues on whether buyers are pressing or if we’re due for digestion after the CPI move. No need to force anything — strength tends to reveal itself quickly, and patience keeps us aligned with structure instead of emotion. Stay flexible, stay sharp, and be ready to pivot if conditions change.
