New Week, Fresh Tape

New week means new opportunity, and we officially roll into the H26 contracts today. There’s still respectable volume hanging out in Z25, so if that’s your comfort zone, you can work it for now — just be aware the transition itself can add a little noise. ES continues to flirt with all-time highs, but it’s going to need help from NQ to get there. Right now, that’s the missing piece. AI-heavy names have been a drag, and that divergence between ES strength and NQ softness can easily lead to choppy, rotational trade rather than clean trend.
Add in a heavy economic calendar and you’ve got the ingredients for a volatile week with real opportunity — if you stay disciplined. Rolls can distort early reads, and mixed index leadership often means patience pays. I’m planning to let the market show its hand at the open, define the opening ranges, and then react rather than anticipate. This is the kind of week where letting price come to you matters more than being first. Stay sharp, stay flexible, and pick your spots. 💪
