Bulls continue to struggle to hold any meaningful extension, which tells you momentum isn’t sticking — every push higher is getting met with supply. When price hovers around key pivot levels like this, it often signals indecision, with both sides probing for control but neither fully committing. Add in the elevated headline risk, and it creates a tape where moves can look technically clean one minute and completely unwind the next.
That late headline into the bell yesterday is still hanging over the market, and now it’s about follow-through — was it positioning, or is there real substance behind it? This is where discipline matters most. You don’t want to marry a bias in a headline-driven environment; you want to stay fluid and react to confirmation. Let price lead, not opinions. If something develops, there will be opportunity — but forcing trades in this kind of tape usually comes at a cost. Stay sharp and trade what’s actually there. 💪
