Bulls on Notice

Bulls are stepping into today’s session with some clear lines in the sand. On ES, the 6688–6685 zone is the area to watch — a pocket of support where buyers need to show up and stabilize price. When markets are under pressure, levels like this often become decision points: hold it and you can spark a reflex bounce, lose it and momentum can quickly accelerate lower. NQ is facing a similar test with 24,500 down to 24,412 acting as the defense line. If buyers can lean into those zones and absorb the selling, we could see a push back into balance. But if they give way, it opens the door for another leg of downside as sellers press the advantage.
At the same time, the backdrop isn’t exactly calm. The VIX remains elevated and it’s Friday — a combination that often brings wider swings, quick reversals, and headline-driven volatility. That’s the kind of environment where patience becomes a real edge. Traders don’t need to chase every move, and forcing trades in hyper-volatile conditions can quickly turn good ideas into bad executions. Stay selective, respect the levels, and remember that Friday headline risk can change the tone in an instant. Keep your head on a swivel and let the market come to you. ⚡️
