Year-End Drift — Eyes on the Levels
by Tony Rago

Last trading day of 2025 and the tape is doing what holiday tape usually does — quiet, thin, and a little deceptive. Participation is light, but that doesn’t mean it’s risk-free. Low volume can still produce quick bursts of volatility if orders hit an empty book, so awareness matters if you’re trading today. On ES, bulls need to stay above 6,926 and work their way back toward the weekly pivot at 6,957 — that’s the line where momentum can start to feel constructive again. On NQ, the focus is similar: reclaiming 25,750 after holding 25,612 would go a long way toward stabilizing the structure.

That said, expectations are modest. This time of year is notorious for low engagement, and forcing trades rarely pays. It’s more about respecting levels, managing exposure, and letting the market show its hand — if it shows anything at all. I want to take a moment to genuinely thank everyone for being part of the journey this year. Wishing you and your families a happy, healthy, and safe New Year. We’re going to come back focused and ready to crush 2026. 💪📈
