    Hi Don,

    Great weekend report !!

We're all dying of boredom (I mean low volatility). Looking for your opinion here... when do you think Vol will pick up again? I'm hearing traders say this is the new normal in equities and it's never coming back. This comes from one of the largest bond traders in the world. He's not involved in equities to have a bias either way, but the word about low vol environments in equities is the talk of the town.
Anyway, having seen manic mean reversion whenever Vol ticks up in 2016 - I'm starting to wonder if sell side Vol programs are so aggressive that it is no longer possible to see vix futures budge even in a real down turn.

    Thanks again,
    R.

Enjoyed watching your analysis. Just signed of for your small-account trading courses.

If Dodd-Frank is significantly altered, does that mean you see a big whoosh of cash out of TLT and into equities coming?
Does that mean going long VIX spreads?

Don, that was the most insightful and sensible analysis I've heard in months.
    You're scaring the children!
