Starting to Lean into Expected Rise in Volatility

The markets continue to hang on every word from the Fed. The Fed is very unlikely to change monetary policy until December. What that means is a continuation of historic low interest rates and no change in the status quo. However, let's review some exhaustion signs from the market and see what opportunities are ahead...

    Dear Don,

Thinkorswim is obviously a very good platform, but I live in Australia, and unfortunately the message given when an Australian attempts to open an account is as follows:-

"After assessing global requirements for doing international business, TD Ameritrade has decided that we will no longer open new accounts for residents of certain international jurisdictions. Unfortunately, Australia is one of these jurisdictions. As a result, we will not be able to open your account. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience".

Even if I could just paper trade in Thinkorswim and thus have access to their beautiful graphical representations of things such as iron condors etc. and then do the actual trade in a platform such as Optionsxpress, it would be a tremendous advantage.

    What is your advice?

    Yours faithfully,

    Keith Hitchcock. ([email protected])
